Real Equality

a real army soldier
Over at Duff and Nonsense I was struck by the tale of this soldier in the Civil War.  A soldier who, although a woman, managed to pass herself off as a man.  With the modern female demanding special standards, rather than competing on a level field with the men they claim to be equal to, this woman simply did the tasks asked of her.
A lesson a few could learn, methinks.

It is good to 'see' you back! Sorry for the loss of your mother. The pain of losing her will never go away but (eventually) the good memories will begin to flood over you.
